How ya goin'?

Side note: we noticed that the emails to you about our blog send the blog itself. If you would like to view the actual blog go to http://traveloutback.blogspot.com/ and we would love to hear your comments on our adventures!!

Yesterday afternoon we went to the Sydney Aquarium in Darling Harbour. We toured the exhibits which featured creatures such as blue ringed octopus, sharks, rays, etc. After exiting the dark aquarium we walked in the shade to our scorched skin from the harsh sun. We caught the train to Bondi Junction and went back to Debie's house. We took Debie and Michael out to dinner at Lemoncello to thank them for their hospitality. We tried some of the local fare...bugs and berundi. Ok so not bugs like the creepy crawly, here "bugs" are crustaceans similar to lobster and berundi is a white fish similar to grouper. YUM. After the scrumptous dinner we checked out the local pub, The Golden Sheaf. There we met some locals, both the weird and the cool, and sampled some great Aussie beers. Because it was Sunday they closed at midnight so we chose to head 'home' and sleep in preparation for our NYE celebration.

Today we depart for Coogee Beach to catch some more sun, hopefully not too much this time. Afterwards we plan to meet up with Skip and Nathan and pre party at the house before we go to Luna Park (next to the Harbour Bridge) for the NYE bash!! Stay tuned for our special New Years blog. Wishing everyone a great new year....oh wait, your new years in tomorrow, we are writing to you from the future (creepy huh?).

Later Gaters!
